Everything you share with us is confidential. There may be rare instances where we need to share information, for example if a child or vulnerable adult is at risk of serious harm.

If you need telephone support outside of our opening hours, including on bank holidays, please know you can contact the Samaritans free 24-hour helpline on 116 123.

We’re not able to offer medical advice. If you have concerns about your health, please contact your GP or NHS 111.

Accessing our support line in different languages and formats

If you would prefer to speak in another language, or you use British Sign Language (BSL), we can support you.

We work with Clear Voice to offer a translation service in over 250 languages.

This service is free and available for anyone contacting our helpline.

When you call, let us know which language you need. We’ll arrange for an interpreter to join and call you back once they are ready, usually very quickly.

You can also request:

  • An interpreter of a specific gender
  • An LGBTQI+ trained interpreter

We offer a video relay service for BSL users through Convo.

This allows you to communicate with our helpline via a qualified interpreter.

To use this service, you’ll need to register with Convo. Once registered, you can access the service through their app or a web browser and find us in the Community Directory.

You can find step-by-step guidance on how to get started with Convo here and in our YouTube video.

If you experience any technical difficulties, you can contact Convo directly at: [email protected]

Our support groups are open to anyone affected by pregnancy loss, including partners, family members and loved ones.

Each group is led by trained volunteers, many with personal experience of loss, creating a safe, welcoming space to talk, listen, or simply be with others who understand.

Some groups are tailored to specific experiences, such as pregnancy after loss or recurrent miscarriage, while others offer general support for anyone affected.

Being with others who’ve had similar experiences can reduce isolation and help you feel seen and heard. There’s no expectation to share more than you want to. You can take part in a way that feels right for you.

We offer both online and in-person groups across the UK, so you can choose the setting that feels most comfortable.

Online support groups

Our online groups make it easier to access support wherever you are.

You can join from home, and take part in a way that feels manageable. Sessions are led by trained volunteers and bring people together from across the UK and beyond. You can keep your camera off, speak when you’re ready, or simply listen.

“I didn’t feel able to share my own story in great detail in front of the group but being around others going through the same thing was so helpful at a time where I felt isolated.”

How to join

Book your free place through Eventbrite. You’ll receive your Zoom link by email, and can sign up until the session begins.

We run online groups every week. If you don’t see a date that works for you, please check back as new sessions are added regularly.

We also run a molar pregnancy support group, which is booked by contacting us directly. If you’d like to find out more or have any questions, please email: [email protected].

In-person
support groups

For some, being in the same room as others who understand can feel grounding and reassuring.

Our in-person groups offer the chance to be with others who understand, in a shared and supportive space. Led by trained volunteers, these sessions take place in several locations across the UK. You can take part in a way that feels right, whether that’s talking, listening, or simply being there.

“My husband and I attended, and we felt that hearing from other people helped us both start some conversations together. Talking helps so much.

For the first time, I didn’t feel so alone and it was comforting to have shared grief. It was so strange how speaking with strangers felt like a load being lifted from my shoulders.
